Hi out there,
This week has been a difficult one. Actually there's been a bit of a downward spiral happening for about two weeks now. I'm beginning to wonder if we were kidding ourselves thinking we could do this by November. I've had lots of pressure with work with clients going off the rails. We haven't had a decent holiday since the end of last year. We've been saving up our holidays this year so we can go to India for 6 weeks in November, hence the push to be on the property by then. So, I'm very much in need of a break with none in sight for the next three months. My back is aching and I'm tired, bla bla bla.
Pat and I tend to do this thing when we're both busy and stressed. We stop communicating with each other properly. Pat drinks more beer. I drink more wine. No one cooks, so we don't eat that well. We become ships passing in the night (just).
In saying this, thank the stars that we realise it. It just takes one to do this. As long as one person is aware, the other can fall apart a little. Both falling apart at once is a recipe for disaster. This is the time when picking your battles is most important (including one's with the youngster in the house).
But, I went to work today and spent the morning supporting a client who has cancer (which is not responding to treatment) and felt better about my world.
Our biggest problem at the moment is cash flow. There is none..... We have an investment property which we are waiting to sell. Once that happens we should feel a little more relaxed. I hate worrying about money, it really sucks. I have more pics of the progress this week. You will be surprised at how much got done. I will post these a bit later on...
We purchased a tractor this week. It probably wasn't quite needed at this stage but the offer was too good to pass up (I hope). I have to trust Pat on this one. More pics and info on that later.
I put down the beginnings of my first vege patch which was very exciting.
No work on the property this weekend for me as I'm at the Blackheath Choir Festival.

Fiona.
