Hi all,
The house is looking more like a house every minute! The garden is looking good as well with some additional landscaping done yesterday. Some friends came to stay on the weekend and helped with moving rocks, slashing unwanted growth and a bit of burning off. Thanks to Anthony and Frank. We had a lovely camp dinner on Sunday night. We were all exhausted by that stage and sat by the fire very zombie like. Frank and I had a swim in the dam on Sunday afternoon. It was cold but the bottom is nice and muddy, no sticks and deep in the middle.
We've decided to stay in the house in Blackheath until we get back from India. To move in down there is going to be too costly to our mental health and our pockets. We need to generate some income from our investment property which is still on the market at this stage. In the meantime we will keep on plodding along.
